Cleaning up, putting stuff away, fine, but real down to the nitty gritty of organization, can't do it. No matter what I do, no matter what I try, especially with the kids, I can NOT get organized. The simple act of making Rigatoni really makes me miss my Grandpa. He always made Rigatoni. If my memory serves me correct, he made it pretty much every time we visited him or when he came to our house. He canned (well in a jar) his own sauce and it was good. I don't think my canned Hunt's sauce is as good as his was, but it just made me remember him and reflect on him. Oddly enough, the anniversary of his death was just a few days ago. I love you Grandpa and always will miss you!

We caved...

and bought the WII..

Update on Wheel among other things.

We didn't make it..for the inquiring minds. However we did get to go to 2 tapings..that was fun. No camera's or phones allowed, therefore I have no pictures to share. That's about all for the update on Wheel..

Alexis just recently got contacts. That seems to be the biggest news around. If I were a good mom I would chronicle this event with pictures of her taking them out and putting them in. I have no batteries for my camera..and my sister need not comment!! So, when I remember to get batteries, I'll take pictures.

That's about all on the homefront at this time. NOthing to big and exciting. Just getting ready for school to start in 23 DAYS!!!!! I could not be MORE excited!!

I think..

I am crazy. Man, this whole Wheel thing has me so nervous. Matt keeps telling me to calm down..Every time I think about getting a call I invision how excited I'll be and I hope whom ever calls from Wheel has some good strong ear drums. However, on the flip side, I have nervous belly and I just keep thinking I can't have butterflies and knotted up tummy till mid-July..that might just kill me. Man, this waiting thing is making me nuts in the head, and probably giving me some ulcers. I just had to release it somewhere..so onward with waiting..hope we get the call..I'll let you know either way.

Follow up on Wheel of Fortune!

Well, as luck would have it we made it through the entire audition without getting cut..so far. We now have to wait to see if we are lucky enough to receive 'that' phone call!! Matt and I did our best and whatever is meant to happen will! We are extremely excited about the chance to appear on Wheel and hope it comes! Being on Wheel has been a LIFELONG dream and goal of mine. I first tried out in LA when I was 12 for 'Teen Week'. I froze during the written and did not move on. I tried out again here in Vegas more that a decade ago, got through the first portion and got cut. Then, I went to the 'Wheelmobile' audition here in Vegas in April, got called up, but then was chosen to audition for 'Sweethearts Week' instead. I don't know, I'd rather play with Matt anyways. We do good as a team and he is fast on his feet! Hopefully, they see it that way too. I can't say enough nice things about the 'Wheel of Fortune' staff that was here today. They were all very nice and kind to us, except Bankrupting us for getting too MANY letters and chances. I think after about calling out 4 correct letters they would Bankrupt us so others had a chance to shine. Wish us luck and hopefully we'll tape with 'Wheel' in July!! I'll keep you all posted.

WHEEL OF FORTUNE!

Wish Matt and I well...we are off for an audition for Wheel of Fortune "Sweethearts Week" tomorrow. It is "shhhh", she puts her finger over her mouth even. It is not even that she says the word, the problem is she only says it when I tell her "no". We'll roleplay. ME: Amelia stop throwing your toy. AMELIA:
'shhhhh'. ME: Amelia don't tell me to "shhh". AMELIA: 'Shh'. The "shhh" gets shorter the more she tries to get her point across. Nothing real exciting here. We have been busy busy little bees. We repainted the kitchen and now I need to take those new batteries I bought and take a picture with my camera. (No need for comment Paula!) We are getting ready to remove carpet in the "living room", you know the little patch of carpet downstairs and put hardwood in. We are VERY excited for that. So, as soon as I get all that done I will take some pictures and post them. I guess I should finish our Dland trip, huh? I will after the fair. I will have fair pictures to post as well. I have 3 cakes to make this weekend, so I'll be back after Easter/fair. Wish me luck I am entering a cake in the fair..

Disneyland--Part 1

DISNEYLAND--PART 1

We took the kids and went to Disneyland for 3 days and had a great time. We were all fairly exhausted by the time we got home, but built tons of great memories. I hope the kids will always remember their first time at Disneyland. Amelia however, I don't think she will remember any of it. That will be interesting to find out in later years. I had this whole senerio played out in my head, that the kids would arrive on the grounds of Disneyland and say "WOW, COOL". You know all the "normal" reactions. We got, "ok".

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SYiHWB9lZGI/AAAAAAAAARM/cyJLePg4Ayc/s320/Picture+1242.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298633774154998882" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SYiHWL9vQJI/AAAAAAAAARU/ThnpT0OmdKw/s320/Picture+1243.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298633776839999634" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SYiHWBuQKfI/AAAAAAAAARc/b7VJLORS4gA/s320/Picture+1245.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298633774090693106" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SYiHWFpJ26I/AAAAAAAAARk/oXdYYvTR3nY/s320/Picture+1246.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298633775143050146" />

So we started by going into Disneyland and first thing saw Mickey Mouse. The kids were so excited to have Mickey sign their autograph books. Amelia was not impressed, she freaked out. I thought I got a picture of Amelia freakin' out but I din't I guess. Sorry I could not share that with you, it was funny.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SYiBSbrBzAI/AAAAAAAAAP0/bhqRnmF_ZSA/s320/Picture+1250.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298627115267247106" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SYiBSryiBMI/AAAAAAAAAP8/k7GBjVznoQE/s320/Picture+1251.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298627119593686210" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SYiBSjHBshI/AAAAAAAAAQE/JhEiwPHZ3zY/s320/Picture+1253.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298627117263729170" />

Then we met Minnie. Amelia surprisingly like Minnie after our experience with Mickey.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SYiCLlF5llI/AAAAAAAAAQM/-Q8YY5QaGcs/s320/Picture+1254.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298628097048417874" />

We also ran into Goofy and Pluto. Goofy was, well, GOOFY! Had all of us laughing. THe kids approached him and wanted him to sign their books and he just started leisurely walking away. The kids just kind of looked at us with that "what is he doing" look and I said follow him, he's being "GOOFY"...Hahahahaha! I crack myself up. Then they said "oh", and followed him and Goofy was laughing and it was all good and fun.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SYiDyoFzINI/AAAAAAAAAQU/6DcEC1__KVg/s320/Picture+1255.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298629867379826898" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SYiDysIy-II/AAAAAAAAAQc/gcSAV5mSh2c/s320/Picture+1256.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298629868466141314" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SYiDz1_QxmI/AAAAAAAAAQ0/eCbcwSQD1fI/s320/Picture+1257.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298629888290375266" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SYiDzzcnFiI/AAAAAAAAAQs/dw-p3ApmINI/s320/Picture+1258.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298629887608165922" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SYiDylETmeI/AAAAAAAAAQk/gm7lSehSips/s320/Picture+1259.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298629866568260066" />

Here are other pictures of Tigger and Pooh. Buzz Lightyear ride was was fun. The ride is interactive, so you go through basically playing a big video game. You shoot out of these laser guns and shoot at the "enemies" targets and get points. As you walk out it tells you what rank you got based off your points range. Very fun ride and the kids loved it. I think it was probably one of their favorites.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SYiI_MxjTSI/AAAAAAAAASM/H_rwsoKhJPI/s320/Picture+1211.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298635580943584546" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SYiI-wPvt0I/AAAAAAAAASE/PQSArk1_TvM/s320/Picture+1210.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298635573285599042" />

Lex on Lightyear..
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SYiI-9rHm3I/AAAAAAAAAR8/LztPBINi4c4/s320/Picture+1209.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298635576890071922" />
Rielly on Lightyear...
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SYiI-b6YhPI/AAAAAAAAAR0/jXRo54jYxPQ/s320/Picture+1208.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298635567827289330" />
Matt, Lex, and Amelia on Lightyear...
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SYiI-ZNOzcI/AAAAAAAAARs/DedIGnIMnNw/s320/Picture+1207.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298635567101038018" />

I will post more later...Part 2 and maybe 3 coming shortly..

My Last Post

Apparantly I was misinformed and tried to email all of you based on the email Isent previous. Well, Northern Utah has this fabulous train that takes you from Nancy's area to SLC. We rode the train (Rielly was in heaven). We had lots of fun, unfortunately my camera died and Nancy's card rejected all the pictures we took at Temple Square. The train ride is all I have.

Holly, Amelia, Aunt Nancy, and Rielly. Freezing while waiting. It was COLD!
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SVIkzkM-k0I/AAAAAAAAAPk/cXLF8QqxBcE/s320/Picture+1197.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283325781169050434" />

Nate, Alexis, Holly, Amelia, Rielly, Eric, and Lilly
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SVIkSrGgzAI/AAAAAAAAAPU/5yb_KPhT2LY/s320/Picture+1199.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283325216085298178" />

Eric, Matt, Uncle Bryan, and Nate's back
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SVIkSQ6UCjI/AAAAAAAAAPM/-lOf4cKVaXo/s320/Picture+1200.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283325209054808626" />

The train
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SVIkSWRhMOI/AAAAAAAAAPE/0fu8GgVG-U0/s320/Picture+1201.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283325210494316770" />

Finally riding the train, Lilly and Rielly.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SVIkRxhwxII/AAAAAAAAAO8/7Bzz4DNTLvY/s320/Picture+1202.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283325200630334594" />

Rielly, Alexis, Holly, and Eric
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SVIkRl9rhHI/AAAAAAAAAO0/f8GYZSCMwPw/s320/Picture+1203.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283325197526205554" />

Pig tails for Amelia

We were all in SHOCK and amazement that Amelia actually let someone put her hair up. This one shut down the city. Mainly because there are not snowplows here and it snowed enough to cancel school. This is the only good picture I got. In the picture is my tree in my front yard, it is not real happy to be cold and covered in snow. The white dots is snow, not a bad camera.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SVIeRSs3r2I/AAAAAAAAANs/9-CLdnNKfYY/s320/Picture+1188.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283318595285659490" />

Here are some pictures of the snow..this is from the first snow Monday, Dec 15.
THe snow was just starting here:
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SVIcy_XFjmI/AAAAAAAAANk/32kQhNE9KC8/s320/Picture+1160.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283316975186316898" />
This is all we got-enough for Rielly to play in.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SVIcy-MvhKI/AAAAAAAAANc/lVV0myd-OtY/s320/Picture+1162.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283316974874494114" />
Rielly making a snowball.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SVIcyumciCI/AAAAAAAAANU/OT_9x_1PDnI/s320/Picture+1166.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283316970687334434" />
Rielly looking at the snow in awe and amazement!
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_A2H9cV1uNSs/SVIcyWfMzGI/AAAAAAAAANM/7ty6zScd6dQ/s320/Picture+1164.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283316964214492258" />

I PASSED STATS!!!

This one was a nail bitter!
